Fuchsia is a beautiful pinkish-purple flower that is native to Malaysia and the Southeast Asian countries. Shaped like giant ‘eardrops’, the Fuchsia flower was named after the 16th century German physician and botanist, Loenhart Fuchs.
Fuchsia symbolises good taste.
Fuchsia was introduced to England in the 18th century and is a very popular flowering shrub, easily identified by its bell-like flowers which usually have two-coloured petals.
