What Flowers for Your Anniversary?

Roses are synonymous with romance. We menfolk give them on Valentine’s Day — even though their price shoots through the roof. And, we tend to give them on every anniversary too, assuming that’s the ‘done thing’. Well here’s the news: it isn’t the done thing at all!

If you have always given roses every anniversary then a huge pat on the back for remembering. Your wife surely appreciates it dearly. But, life could be a little more interesting for her, if you gave the specific flower that is symbolic of the major wedding anniversaries.

Take “major wedding anniversaries” to mean the first fifteen, plus the decade and half decades thereafter (so 20th, 25th, 30th 35th, etc).
